Thank you for coming to the program today!!! The campers and teen leaders did a fantastic job and we are super proud of them. Thanks also for purchasing t-shirts! We just got closer to purchasing that ½ size replica of the Liberty Bell. If you’d like to donate, you can click here.
Thank you!
I also need to thank my outstanding committee. Thank you to Melanie Mercer and Laurie Wood for working with me to plan and schedule the agenda for the week. Thanks also to Michelle Stark for being at camp every day and all day to teach the campers the songs. Finally, thank you to Nicolina Tanner and Ashley Justensen for handling all things Teen Leader. These are busy ladies who volunteered to help with this camp because they love America and the cause of freedom and want to ensure the future generation does too.
As Patriot Camp is completely run by volunteers, we are always looking for people willing to help in various ways. If you are interested in heading up a committee or helping one day, please text me at 801-318-0692.
We also appreciate James and Christian Stevens for providing the sound for the program. It was amazing! They made it possible so we could hear and enjoy the show. You can support their fundraiser Give Water concert to help provide clean water for African children here.
Ask your camper what they learned from the visits of the following:
- Bells of Joyful Sound (who performed and taught a class)
Click here to view a short video of today's performance.
- Freedom, a beautiful Bald Eagle
- Vernon Stout from Freedom Vehicles and his military vehicle and weapons. Make sure to catch him at the SCERA next to the Colonial Festival and Cries of Freedom & the American Heritage Museum.
- Bob Goodwin as Thomas Jefferson
- Dalane England from Freedom’s Light Festival (A Constitution Day Event in Bountiful)
- Kris Kimball who taught about the American Covenant
We also appreciate the Pleasant Grove Royalty who helped the campers make their Statue of Liberty crowns and torches, and Sasha and Shaun Porter (children of the late Amy Porter who was a co-founder of Utah Patriot Camp) who helped the children launch rockets.
